NIA takes over case of seized huge arms cache at Imphal in Manipur

New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency on Thursday took over the investigation of seizure of illegal arms cache at Mantripukhri in Imphal in Manipur from the State Police, the federal probe agency said here on Friday.
According to the NIA, a fresh case, on the basis of original case of the Heingang Police Station FIR No. 80(5)2018 on May 22,has been registered under section 121, 121A of the Indian Penal Code, sections 25 (1C) Arms Act and section 5 of Explosive Substances Act,at Guwahati NIA Branch Office.
