Over 20k dengue cases records in Sri Lanka

Colombo, Apr 4 (UNI) Over 20,000 dengue cases with eight fatalities have been reported in Sri Lanka so far this year, according to the latest updates by the National Dengue Control Unit (NDCU) on Thursday.
According to the NDCU, 20,288 cases have been reported so far. The Western Province recorded the highest number of 7,258 cases, followed by the Northern Province with 4,226 cases.
Last year, 88,000 dengue cases were reported with a death toll of 57, according to the NDCU.
