Turkey detains over 50 people over suspected IS ties

Istanbul, Mar 31 (UNI) Turkish authorities have detained 51 people suspected of having ties to the Islamic State terrorist group in a four-day operation spanning 21 provinces, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on Sunday.
On Tuesday, the minister reported 147 detentions in 30 Turkish provinces over suspected IS links.
"Fifty-one people detained in a four-day operation against the IS in 21 provinces," Yerlikaya said on X.
