Day temp above normal in isolated places over Bihar

Pune, Mar 2 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1 or more) at isolated places over Bihar; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over west Madhya Pradesh; at isolated places over east Madhya Pradesh, east Rajasthan, and Vidarbha; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Arunachal Pradesh, Marathwada, and Gujarat State; at many places over Uttar Pradesh, west Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra, and Jharkhand; at a few places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, and Meghalaya; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Konkan, Goa, north interior Karnataka, coastal Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim.
They were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at a few places over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh; at isolated parts over Punjab and Gangetic West Bengal; and near normal over the rest of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 39.5°C was reported at Yavatmal (Vidarbha) over the country.
Night temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1 or more) at a few places over Punjab; at isolated places over Gujarat Region, south Haryana, Delhi, northwest Rajasthan; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Saurashtra, Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, east Rajasthan, north Haryana; at a few places over Marathwada, west Madhya Pradesh, north interior Karnataka, and west Uttar Pradesh; at isolated places over southwest Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan, Goa, and Telangana; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over coastal Karnataka; at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Telangana.
