Rajya Sabha MP Dr Kulkarni inaugurates 'My Pride, My Handloom' exhibition

Pune, Mar 17 (UNI) The Ministry of Textiles and the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of the Government of India have various schemes for weavers and handloom professionals under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 'My Pride, My Handloom', an initiative of the Government of India, encourages handloom weavers, said Prof Dr Medha Kulkarni, Rajya Sabha MP, on Sunday.
Addressing media after inaugurating 'My Pride, My Handloom', a grand handloom exhibition, organised by the Indian Silk Gallery at Mahalaxmi Lawns on D P Road, in Karvenagar area of city, she said, "This exhibition will be useful to make consumers aware of silk fabrics.
