CBI arrests 3 for corruption

Kolhapur / Raigad, Apr 4 (UNI) Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested three people, including an assistant drugs controller, a drugs inspector and a private agent at Assistant Drugs Controller (ADC) office, Panvel in Raigad district, in a case of alleged corruption.
Acting on a tip of allegations of rampant corruption at ADC office, a CBI team conducted a surprised check on April two and recovered cash of Rs 1.52 lakh from a drawer of public servants, who could not give explanation regarding amount, which suspects had accepted as bribe for issuing an NOC (no-objection certificate.
While, during the raid, many objectionable documents were found from the accused, sources said on Thursday.
