Nanded, Jan 16 (UNI) The Nanded Civil Court has issued an order to arrest the District collector, Commissioner of the Nanded Waghala Municipal Corporation and the land acquisition officer for not complying order of the court to pay the compensation of land acquisition done during the Guru-da-Gaddi tricentenary function organised in the year 2008.
The order was issued on Monday.
Various developmental works were undertaken during celebration of the function in the city for which officers acquired land form the concerned land owners by assuring them to pay the compensation as per the government rules. The land of the complainant Guru Bachan Kaur Madan Singh, located at Gurdwara Gate, was also acquired and he was given a compensation but he was not satisfied with it following which he had filed a case at a Court.
After examining all witnesses and documents the Civil Court had issued an order in the year 2015 to pay Rs 3.1 lakh as compensation to the complainant but the collector, the Commissioner of the Nanded Waghala Municipal Corporation and the land acquisition officer did not comply with the order. The concerned officers neither paid the amount to nor deposited in the account of the complainant.
The complainant filed a case of Contempt of Court against the three officers and urged the court to take action. On the basis of evidences and witnesses the civil judge N M Momin has issued a warrant to arrest these officers which to be executed through of the belief of the Court.
