JKCA’s Hatim, Kamaksh to attend U-19 elite camp of BCCI

Jammu, Mar 26 (UNI) Stylish top order left handed batsman Hatim Reyaz and Kamaksh Sharma, an explosive opener cum wicket keeper of JKCA have been selected by the Junior National Selection Committee to attend the National Cricket Academy U-19 elite camp from April 25 to May 22 at Nadiad, Gujarat and Salem, Tamil Nadu respectively being organised by the BCCI.
As per the official communiqué, both are promising players of JKCA and a product of the Talent Hunt.
Hatim Reyaz during the current season has scored 422 runs with one century and two half centuries while Kamaksh Sharma apart from an excellent display behind the wickets scored 279 runs with three half centuries.
“This is an excellent opportunity for both the players to hone their skills further under the watchful eyes of the best coaches in the business. The Sub-Committee members hope that the players will put in their best and return to the team as a great asset at the end of the camp,” Brig Anil Gupta (Retd), Member Administration, JKCA said while congratulating the players.
Member Cricket Operations and Development, JKCA, Mithun Manhas and Sunil Sethi, Member Legal, JKCA have also complimented the selected players and wished them good luck while exhorting them to put in their best during the camp.
Chairman Junior Men Selection Committee Arun Sharma and other members of the Selection Committee have expressed happiness on the inclusion of two players from the JKCA in the elite camp.
