PCA felicitates Ajay Mehra and late Rakesh Sanghi

Chandigarh, Dec 6 (UNI) Ajay Mehra and late Rakesh Sanghi,were honoured at a function organised by Punjab Cricket Association.
PCA secretary Puneet Bali chaired the function on Thursday.
Ajay Mehra son of Test star lateVijay Mehra who represented Punjab State team from 1989-1999 in 46 first class matches with five centuries and the highest score of unbeaten 200. He was the member of the Punjab winning squad of Ranji Trophy in 1993. The former cricketer was given a certificate of appreciation for doing duties as Commentator in 150 International cricket matches.
Late Rakesh Sanghi, who was the official statistician of the State and officiated as statistician in more than 200 International cricket matches and 1000 domestic cricket matches was honoured posthumously with a certificate of appreciation for his most valuable commitment and execution of duties. The certificate was presented to his wife Madhu Sanghi.
The function was attended by CEO Deepak Sharma and members of the Punjab Ranji Trophy Team. Puneet Bali while lauding the efforts of Ajay Mehra and Late Rakesh Sanghi wished the Punjab Ranji Trophy team happy hunting for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season. He then unveiled the photographs of Ajay Mehra and Rakesh Sanghi in the main PCA lobby.
