Masks must for vaikuntha dwara darshan: TTD C

Tirumala, Dec 27 (UNI) In order to enable Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan to more number of devotees, TTD has been organising a ten-day Vaikunta Dwara Darshan starting from January 2-11 and this practice has been in vogue since the past three years, said Tirumala tirupati devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy.

Speaking to media persons along with TTD Executive officer (FAC) Anil Kumar Singhal and other top brass officials from TTD and district administration, the Chairman said, "In view of the recent guidelines by Central and State Governments, we appeal the devotees who are coming to Tirumala for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan to wear Masks which is mandatory. We make other arrangements like frequently sanitizing the crowded places etc. as a part of Health Safety and Security of visiting pilgrims. TTD has planned to issue a total 45,000 Slotted Sarva Darshan tickets per day from January 2 to11."

Two JNTUK students selected for prestigious Amazon education programme

Kakinada, May 1 (UNI) Two girl students of CSE first year of JNTUK College of Engineering – G Padmapriya and M. Kavitha - have been selected for the prestigious Amazon Future engineering programme in the National level competition.
