TTD to organise 521st Vardhanti of Annamacharya from April 4-8

Tirupati, Mar 28 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) is grandly organising the 521st Vardhanti of Saint poet of Tallapaka Annamacharya, from April 4-8 at Dhyan mandir and the 108 feet Annamaiah statue at his birthplace Tallapaka in Kadapa district besides Narayanagiri gardens in Tirumala and Annamacharya Kala Mandir at Tirupati.
Born in 1408, Annamayya in his 95 years of life span till he attained salvation in 1503, had penned 32,000 Sankeertans in praise of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
The festivities will begin at Padala Mandapam in Alipiri, Tirupati on April 4 and a vibrating Saptagiri sankeertan Gosti Ganam at Narayanagiri Gardens on the same evening.
