Suspended KPCC member seeks pardon from DKS, claims threat to life

Bengaluru, Oct 14 (UNI) Suspended Congress member M.A. Salim on Thursday claimed threat to life as he sought pardon from Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D.K. Shivakumar for linking him to a scam.
"What should I do sir. If that (life threat) is there, what should I do? I have a wife and children. I am disgusted with whatever I spoke against Shivakumar in a conversation with Ugrappa. I request Shivakumar to pardon me and plead to end the matter here itself," a teary-eyed Salim told a section of media here.
Salim was suspended for six years after a video went viral on social media in which he was seen speaking to senior Congress leader V.S. Ugrappa and disclosing names of Congress leaders involved in corruption, including Shivakumar for amassing wealth of upto Rs 100 crore as minister through kickbacks while granting contracts for irrigation projects.
