Coal crisis to be mitigated in a couple of day's time: RINL-VSP

Visakhapatnam, Apr 20 (UNI) Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), also known as Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), on Saturday announced that it has diverted its 2 vessels to Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) which were stranded at Adani Gangavaram Port Limited (AGPL) due to workers strike.
One of the vessels got berthed on April 19, 2024, and the Coal is getting unloaded at VPT, the steel plant said in a release here.
RINL is completing the customs formalities and with the help of Railways is trying to transfer the cargo (Coal) to the plant in the next few days.
