Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy asserted on Wednesday that the nation is resolute in its desire for Narendra Modi to serve as Prime Minister for the third term.

Speaking during an election campaign in Musheerabad within his Secunderabad Parliamentary constituency, Reddy emphasised the upcoming elections in Telangana slated for May 13.

"The country ardently desires Narendra Modi to assume the mantle of Prime Minister once more. His leadership is pivotal for the future prosperity of our children," Reddy affirmed.

He highlighted significant strides under Modi's governance, noting substantial reductions in poverty and the uplifting of millions from below the poverty line. Reddy also underscored the tangible benefits accruing to citizens through various government schemes.

"Modi's adept handling of the COVID-19 pandemic has garnered global acclaim, ensuring robust medical infrastructure, applauding healthcare workers, and bolstering domestic vaccine production," Reddy remarked.

Furthermore, Reddy credited Modi's resolute actions for quelling terrorism, notably in curbing activities orchestrated by the ISI, and for bringing stability to the region by revoking Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

"We now witness unrestricted filmmaking and free elections in Jammu and Kashmir, alongside monumental infrastructural advancements such as the expansion of national highways," Reddy elaborated.

Reddy appealed to the electorate to rally behind Modi, emphasizing his commitment to fostering employment opportunities and development across all sectors.
