Duolingo English Test accepted by 5k universities across globe

Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) India stands as the largest market for the Duolingo English Test (DET), with the highest volume of test-takers planning to pursue graduate degrees in fields such as business, computer science, math, and engineering.
In 2023, students in India applied to programs in over 83 countries, marking a 9% increase in countries from last year while Hyderabad emerges as the top city for DET test-takers, reflecting the city's pronounced demand for international education opportunities, particularly in the United States, DET said in a release here.
Similar to TOEFL and IELTS, the Test, but online from anywhere , anytime and no appointment needed, said Tara Kapur, Market Lead, India, DET, in a press conference here.
