UP to launch month-long campaign against communicable diseases from Apr 1

Lucknow, Mar 31 (UP) In a bid to check spread of communicable and vector-borne diseases, the Uttar Pradesh government is set to launch a special month-long communicable disease control campaign between April 1 to April 30, official sources said here on Sunday.
Sources said that various departments have been entrusted with specific responsibilities for the effective execution of this initiative in this regard. The campaign will be a collaborative effort between the Health Department and 12 other departments.
The state government has appealed to the public, urging cooperation to ensure the success of the campaign. Citizens are also encouraged to report breeding areas of mosquitoes to the health department team.
