1 cr stolen from house of BJP village Sarpanch

Bhopal, July 2 (UNI) A gang of armed dacoits broke into the house of a BJP village Sarpanch and decamped with a booty of around Rs one crore, including jewellery and Rs 50 lakh cash in the Morena district of Madhya Pradesh in the wee hours of Wednesday.
According to the police, the incident occurred in Alapur village at around 1.30 AM.
The miscreants broke into the house of village Sarpanch Manju Yadav. Her husband, Rajkumar Yadav is also a BJP leader of the area.
The couple was sleeping in the house along with their two children when the incident happened.
They later told the police that at least four armed dacoits entered the house, while some others kept watch outside. The dacoits held the family at gun point and looted Rs 50 lakh cash, gold and silver jewellery, and a licensed 12-bore rifle.
The miscreants fled the spot and after that the family raised an alarm. The other villagers reached their house and the police were also informed.
Police investigations revealed that the dacoits had placed an iron ladder on one side of the house. They climbed to the roof and then broke into the house.
According to Morena SP Sameer Saurabh, a police team along with fingerprint experts and dog squad reached the house for investigations. The SP said that a hunt is on for the miscreants and they would be arrested soon.
