UP: Girl set on fire in Firozabad, 3 booked

Firozabad (UP), Apr 12 (UNI) A 23-year-old Dalit girl was set on fire by three persons allegedly over a financial dispute in the Dakshin area of Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the girl was having an affair with Prabhat Rathore, a resident of Nai Basti locality, for the last eight years. "It has been alleged that during this period Prabhat took Rs 5 lakh from the victim," they said.
On Friday the victim went to Prabhat's house and demanded her money back which led to a dispute. "It is alleged that as the dispute escalated Prabhat's father Jagdish Rathore and mother Vimla Devi poured inflammable substance and set her on fire," police sources said.
