HP Cabinet approves filling up of 985 vacant lecturers of computer science

Shimla, Mar 14 (UNI) The Cabinet of Himachal Pradesh has approved the filling up of 985 vacant posts of Lecturer (Computer Science) as per R&P Rules.
This decision was announced by the Secretary (Education) on Thursday. The secretary stated in a letter about the decision taken by the council of ministers on March 7, 2024, that further necessary action in the matter would be taken by the director of public relations after completing all the codal formalities.
This is a welcome decision for the state of Himachal Pradesh, which has a shortage of qualified computer science teachers.
