UP :Two killed, 6 injured as wall collapses in Pilibhit

Pilibhit, Apr 21 (UNI) Two persons were killed and six others injured when the wall of a kutcha house collapsed during a marriage function in Bisalpur area of Pilibhit district in Uttar Pradesh, Police sources said here on Sunday.
Police sources said the incident took place in Bhasoora village late on Saturday where a tent was erected to welcome the marriage party. "While dinner was being served the wall of the house along with the tent erected collapsed and eight persons were buried under the debris," Police said.
Police sources said the villagers launched a rescue operation and rescued Mahavir (25), Chandraveer (30), Mango Devi, Chheda Lal, Heeralal, Guddu, Ashok, Shreyas and Ram Charan out of the debris. "The injured were initially taken to the Community Health Centre from where they were referred to the district hospital," Police said.
