New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday predicted enhanced rainfall with thunderstorms over Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from March 21 to 26.
“Fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from March 21 to 26,” the IMD said in a statement.
According to IMD, “Isolated heavy rainfall very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during March 21-23 and March 25, over Sikkim on March 21 and 23 and isolated heavy rainfall over March 21.”
