Kahalgaon station of NTPC produces 16555.02 million units of power in fiscal 2023-24

Kahalgaon, Apr 6 (UNI) Kahalgaon super thermal power station of NTPC produced 16555.02 Million Units (MU) of power in fiscal 2023-24, surpassing surpassing all previous records.
Chief General Manager of Kahalgaon station, Ajay Sharma, said on Saturday that in last financial year, coal based power station of 2340 MW capacity, produced 16555.02 Million Units (MU) of power with 80.54 percent Plant Load Factor (PLF) and assistance of four units of 210 MW and three units of 500 MW. It was a record production in just concluded financial year, he added.
Sharma said that Kahalgaon super thermal power station was tenth in all units of NTPC in power generation and first in eastern region of the country.
