Bihar: Scrapping Article 370, a milestone achievement: Yogi

Aurangabad, Apr 15 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that the scrapping of Article 370, relating to Jammu and Kashmir, is a big achievement of the Narendra Modi government which further reinforced the unity and integrity of the country.
Addressing a public meeting in favour of BJP candidate Sushil Kumar Singh from Aurangabad Lok Sabha seat, Adityanath said that the Narendra Modi government had fulfilled its promise of scrapping Article 370 relating to Jammu and Kashmir. When Article 370 was in existence, it was very difficult for a common man to visit the state but after scrapping of Article 370, no such problem was there and anyone could move freely, he added.
" Prestige and respect of the country have increased manifold on world forum under the regime of Narendra Modi government". UP Chief Minister said cross border terrorism and the menace of Naxalism had decreased remarkably and it would be wiped from the country in the next five years once Narendra Modi became Prime Minister for his third term, he pointed out.
Adityanath said that the erstwhile Congress-led UPA government had refused to accept the very existence of Lord Rama in its affidavit filed in the Supreme Court. Now Congress party was seen saying that Lord Rama was for everyone, he pointed out.
" Approaching path of Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi was earlier so narrow that not more than 10 people could have Darshan( glimpses) of Lord Shiva at a time", Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said adding that due to efforts made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, infrastructural facilities had improved considerably and now five lakhs devotees were visiting Kashi Vishwanath temple every day, he added.
Adityanath said that RJD was a party of one man Lalu Prasad and he had given tickets to only his family members. Lalu could never think beyond his family members and no one should have any expectation from this party, he cautioned.
