Need to adopt zero tolerance approach towards terrorism: Aramane

New Delhi, April 26 (UNI) Defense Secretary Giridhar Aramane on Friday emphasized the need to adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism in all its forms for the prosperity and development of the SCO Member States.
Participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defense Ministers’ meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan, on Friday, Aramane reiterated India’s steadfast commitment towards maintaining peace, stability, and security in the SCO region, a Defense Ministry statement said here.
Aramane mentioned India’s long-standing proposal for a Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism at the United Nations.
