Delhi set for AI-driven traffic overhaul as cabinet clears Rs 1,789-crore ITMS

New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) The union Cabinet on Wednesday approved a Rs 1,789.52-crore Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) for Delhi, setting the stage for a city-wide technology-driven traffic network that will deploy artificial intelligence, adaptive traffic signals, automated enforcement and real-time information to make road travel safer, smoother and more predictable.
