New Delhi, Sept 23 (UNI) As political parties gear up for the Punjab assembly polls next year, the BJP, in a strategic move, appointed former Delhi unit chief Virendra Sachdeva as co-in-charge in the state, along with Dr Alka Gurjar. Sachdeva, who spearheaded the party's campaign at the grass-roots level in the Delhi Assembly polls and was instrumental in the BJP's win, is likely to prove an asset as he will assist Satish Poonia, who has been made in-charge for Punjab.
