YouTube ecosystem contributed over Rs 18,000 crore to India's GDP in 2025: Murugan

New Delhi, 29 Sep (UNI) union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan on Tuesday highlighted the growing contribution of India's creator economy to economic growth, employment and cultural outreach, urging young creators to use artificial intelligence responsibly. Addressing the YouTube Impact Summit 2026 here, he said, "The future should not be: AI versus creators. It should be: AI empowering creators."
