Under-construction building collapses in Delhi's Alipur, all workers safe

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) An under-construction building collapsed in north Delhi's Alipur area on Sunday morning, triggering a swift response from the Delhi Police, fire services and disaster management teams. No casualties were reported, and all workers at the site were accounted for and safe, officials said. The incident took place around 11 am while lintel work was in progress at the construction site. A preliminary inquiry suggested that the supporting shuttering, locally referred to as 'balli', gave way, bringing down the under-construction portion of the building.
