AP: Golden Chariot procession held during Brahmotsavams at Tirumala

Tirumala, Sept 20 (UNI): The Golden Chariot Utsavam was held as part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala on Sunday evening.
Malayappa Swamy, accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi, was taken in a procession on the Golden Chariot along the four Mada Streets at around 4 pm amid traditional Mangala Vaidyams.
A large number of devotees participated in pulling the Golden Chariot, while thousands gathered along the Mada Streets to have darshan of the deity and chanted "Govinda".
TTD Executive Officer Ravichandra, Additional Executive Officer Venkaiah Chowdary, Board members and other officials participated in the procession.
