New Delhi, Oct 7 (UNI) India on Wednesday called for greater focus on closing gaps in climate action, fulfilling existing commitments and accelerating implementation of the Paris Agreement at the UNFCCC Pre-COP31 meeting in Fiji. Addressing a plenary discussion on COP31 priorities, Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said the focus should now shift towards accelerating progress on climate goals already agreed under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement.
