Bhubaneswar, Oct 7 (UNI) The Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday arrested a Roads & Buildings (R&B) Executive Engineer after an investigation allegedly found his assets to be 309 per cent higher than his known sources of income. The anti-corruption agency reportedly unearthed 23 plots, two buildings and a five-acre farmhouse during searches linked to the disproportionate assets case. Arabinda Mohanty, Executive Engineer of the R&B Sub-Division at Betanati in Mayurbhanj district, was arrested along with contractor Biswanath Pal, described by Vigilance as his "active partner".
