Delhi govt, ICCR sign MoU to expand global opportunities for city artists

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) The Delhi government and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) have signed an MoU to expand international opportunities for artists from the city and strengthen cultural and academic exchanges with foreign institutions, officials said on Monday. The agreement, signed in the presence of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, will facilitate the participation of Delhi-based artists in ICCR's Horizon Series and international cultural festivals. The Delhi government will identify artists across disciplines, including performing arts, literature, sculpture, textiles, architecture, culinary arts and handicrafts and prepare a consolidated directory to be shared with ICCR for international programmes.…
