MICA, Ahmedabad team wins E.D.G.E campus programme

Ahmedabad, Dec 4 (UNI) The team from business school MICA, Ahmedabad (formerly Mudra Institute of Communications ) has emerged as winner in the campus program Samsung E.D.G.E leaving behind teams from National Institute of Design (NID), Bangalore and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.
Over 2,500 students from 18 top institutions across India participated in the grand finale of the programme that consisted of four rounds. In the first round, team members came together and put up an executive case summary. Top team members were then invited to participate in the campus round and presented their ideas through group presentations.
After evaluation, top teams in each campus were shortlisted for the Regional Round in which all the teams worked on the case study and presented their unique solutions. At the end of the regional rounds, top 8 teams battled it out in the National Round in Gurugram yesterday.

Pune, May 6 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Gangetic West Bengal; at isolated places at a few places over Bihar; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe, Telangana, Rayalaseema; at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad. These were markedly below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C); at isolated places over Gujarat state and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 45.1°C was reported at Saraikela (Jharkhand) over the country.
