Medical science university to come up in Karnal, medical college in Jind

Chandigarh, Apr 17 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that a Medical Science University will come up in Karnal and a Medical College in Jind.
Mr Khattar held a meeting with Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda at New Delhi late last evening. Union Steel Minister Birender Singh was also present in the meeting.
The Union Government has accorded in-principle approval for giving adequate financial assistance to Haryana through National Capital Region Planning Board, for setting up the Medical Science University at Karnal and Medical College in Jind. In addition, a Medical College will also be established on 100 acres of land at Khoriawas village in Mahendragarh district.
