Lucknow, April 19 (UNI) In the 34th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the toss and elected to field first against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) here on Friday.
The decision to field first came after considering the nature of the red clay pitch, which is expected to offer assistance to the fast bowlers. Ahead of the crucial encounter, both teams made changes to their playing XI.
For Chennai, Moeen Ali and Deepak Chahar returned to the team, replacing Darrell Mitchell and Shardul Thakur. Meanwhile, Lucknow introduced Matt Henry into their lineup, replacing Shamar Joseph.
