Kolhapur, July 22 (UNI) Light to moderate rainfall was recorded in this district of Maharashtra, affecting normal life.
Water level of main Panchganga river was receding slowly, while at Rajaram bandhara (weir) in Kasba Bavda, a suburb of the city, it touched 39.7 feet, which was still seven inch over warning level.
The water storage of all eight irrigation dams out of 14, was increasing slowly following decline in intensity of the rainfall in catchment areas of the irrigation dam.
