Khattar performs Chhath Puja in Karnal

Karnal, Nov 13 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that on the occasion of Mahachhath Parv Mahotsav, one should take a resolve to bring purity in his life only then we can register victory over social evils such as female foeticide, dowry, untouchability and casteism.
Speaking after performing Chhath Puja organised by Chhath Sewa Samiti Mandal here today, Mr Khattar said that Chhath Puja is one of our main festivals.
"On this festival, we should take resolve to promote cleanliness. It is the responsibility of every person to ensure cleanliness in surroundings," he added.
