Karnal municipal corporation begins survey of street vendors

Chandigarh, Feb 21 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation, Karnal has started survey of street vendors in the city and the work has been assigned to Noida based Rudrabhishek Enterprises Private Limited agency.
Stating this here on Wednesday, Municipal Commissioner Dr Priyanka Soni said that the corporation had held a meeting with members of Street Vendor Committee and informed them about the survey. She said that the survey agency would complete its work and submit the Detailed Project Report to the Municipal Corporation.
During survey, the representatives of the agency would get photo and other relevant information of street vendors through mobile application and biometric. No money would be charged from street vendors for this process, she added.
