HP: Tashigang at 15,256 ft world's highest polling station

Shimla, Apr 19 (UNI) The Election Commission of India has declared Tashigang in Himachal Pradesh as the world's highest polling booth, where 52 electorates would cast their votes on June one.
Assistant election officer Harsh Negi reached Tashigang, the world's highest polling station, on Friday. He held a special meeting with the locals there and heard their demands.
He told them that "Tashigang is known all over the world for 100 per cent voting. By keeping this tradition alive, we will once again create history and strengthen democracy."
