Heat wave sweep across Odisha, several cities turn into boiling cauldrons.

Bhubaneswar, Apr 27 (UNI) Several cities in Odisha on Saturday, virtually turned into boiling cauldrons as the mercury soared above 43 degrees Celsius in as many as 14 locations across the state.
The industrial town of Angul became the hottest place, with the daytime temperature rising to 44.7 degrees Celsius.
The state capital, Bhubaneswar, recorded 44.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Baripada (44.2) Boudh, Dhenkanal, and Bhawanipatna (43.7 degrees Celsius).
