Haryana to organise 3rd chapter of agri leadership summit in Rohtak from March 16

Chandigarh, Feb 8 (UNI) Riding on the success of two consecutive Agri Leadership Summits, Haryana government will organize third chapter of Agri Leadership Summit in Rohtak from March 16 to 18 to bring together a large number of progressive farmers from across the country and provide them a platform for interaction with policymakers, scientists and technologists.
Stating this while addressing a press conference here today, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Om Parkash Dhankar said footfall of about one lakh farmers each from different states and other stakeholders associated with agriculture sector were recorded in first two summits organized in Gurugram and Faridabad in year 2015 and 2017 respectively.
He said different sessions, workshops and seminars of farmers covering topic on Haryana for Fresh, Shifting on Peri-Urban Agriculture, Climate Smart Agriculture, Organic Village, Zero Budget Agriculture, Soil Health and milk production would be organised in this summit. Ministers of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Department from other states and MPs and MLAs interested in farming sector would also be invited in the summit.
