Haryana min confirms through media reports that 2016 Rohtak unrest was pre-planned plot by Hoodas

Chandigarh, July 14 (UNI) The Haryana Finance Minister, Capt Abhimanyu, has said that reports appearing in the media regarding the CBI charge-sheet in the case of violence, arson and loot that took place in Rohtak during February, 2016, had made it clear that the riots were planned, and that it was a conspiracy hatched by a political party.
In a statement issued here today, Capt. Abhimanyu said that names mentioned in the charge-sheet were clearly associated with the former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, and violence had been planned to fail the present state government. Gaurav Hooda, son of Krishan Murti Hooda, who is close to Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Ashok Balhara and others were involved in the violence which was pre-planned.
Capt. Abhimanyu said, “Reading the charge-sheet gives one goosebumps as shops and houses of thousands of people were burnt and 32 persons were killed, and an attempt was also made to kill members of my family”. The script had been prepared for this violence, and his house and family were on target as mentioned in the audio-tape.
