Prayagraj, Dec 22 (UNI) Former cabinet minister Rakesh Dhar Tripathi was sentenced to three years imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 10 lakh by a special court here in a disproportionate assets case on Friday, a prosecution counsel said.
Government Counsel Gulab Chandra Agrahari said that the MP-MLA court of Dr Dinesh Chandra Shukla held Tripathi guilty and sentenced him to three years imprisonment with fine.
'He was later granted bail by the court," Agrahari said.
