Errant Nanded auto drivers fined for not wearing uniform

Nanded, Jul 6 (UNI) On expiry of the deadline set for auto-rickshaw drivers to wear uniforms, the traffic police on Friday collected fines from errant auto drivers for not adhering to the directive during inspection drive here.
Superintendent of police Chandrakishor Mina had instructed almost 15 days ago to all auto drivers to wear uniform from July 6.
A press note issued by the Regional Transport Office (RTO) said that it was found today that most of the rickshaw drivers did not wear the uniform despite it having been made compulsory.
