Kolkata airport set for more flights, larger aircraft in winter schedule

Kolkata, Sep 16 (UNI) Air connectivity from Kolkata is set to receive a boost during the forthcoming winter travel season, with airlines planning to increase flight capacity and introduce larger aircraft on key routes, NSCBI Airport Director Vikram Singh said on Wednesday. Speaking at a press conference, Singh said Emirates Airlines would increase its capacity from Kolkata, while Akasa Air would also expand its operations, including flights to Navi Mumbai.
