Union minister reviews youth, sports & development schemes in Mizoram

Aizawl, Sept 16 (UNI) union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse reviewed implementation of Central schemes and development priorities in Saitual and Kolasib districts during a two-day visit to Mizoram, with emphasis on grassroots sports, youth engagement, drug-abuse prevention, agriculture and connectivity. At review meetings in the two districts on September 15 and 16, Khadse called for greater coordination among government departments, community organisations and youth groups to prevent substance abuse and expand opportunities for young people through sports, education and employment.
