Manipur Congress stages protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Imphal, Sep 25 (UNI) The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), along with its youth wing, Mahila Congress and Seva Dal, on Friday staged a protest in Imphal against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, demanding his immediate removal and arrest over allegations concerning the conduct of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Congress President O Ibobi, AICC member Gaikhangam and other senior members of Congress party took part in the protest.
