UDP legislators joined BJP in the interest of Meghalaya, says Rymbui

Shillong, Sep 23 (UNI) Meghalaya Education Minister Lakhmen Rymbui, who, along with seven other UDP MLAs, joined the BJP in Delhi on Wednesday, said their move was in the best interest of the state, as the party in power at the Centre has assured them that their major demands would be fulfilled. Rymbui formally joined the BJP at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday, alongside seven other UDP legislators: Kyrmen Shylla, Mayralborn Syiem, Pius Marwein, Balajiedkupar Synrem, Ollan Sing Suiñ, Synshar Lyngdoh Thabah, and Matthew Beyondstar Kurbah.
