Collectors told to remain alert as heavy rains expected across Telangana: Minister Ponguleti

Hyderabad, Sep 23 (UNI) Telangana Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Wednesday directed District Collectors to remain highly vigilant in view of the Meteorological Department's warning of heavy to extremely heavy rains across Telangana over the next two days. He called for special attention to Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanamkonda, where a Red Alert has been issued, and asked officials to take proactive relief measures.
