Attack on magistrate, lawyers raises serious security concerns: Odisha Bar Council

Bhubaneswar, Nov 8 (UNI) The Odisha State Bar Council has demanded enhanced security for judicial officers and advocates following an alleged attack by a woman accused on a First Class Judicial Magistrate, a government pleader and police personnel at Jharigaon in Nabarangpur district. Taking serious note of the incident, Council chairman Sitanshu Mohan Dwibedi has deputed member Pita Ramesh Patra to visit Jharigaon and conduct an on-the-spot inquiry.
